After finding the most perfect blue Pyrex dish yesterday, I decided to make dinner in it to celebrate my acquisition. Spring is here, but it definitely still feels like winter, and I wanted some comfort food. But what to make for dinner? Jamie Oliver had the answer: a simple chicken and mushroom pie.
Jamie's recipe is easy and only requires basic, yet tasty ingredients. Don't be thrown off by the 'pie' part. This is a cheat recipe and store bought puff pastry will suffice. After thirty minutes dinner was on the table with some buttery peas and a baguette. Yum. Well done new Pyrex!
